Car Alarms: Prime car alarm remote reset, entry functions, switch button

I was wondering if you could kindly explain to me how to reset my after-
market Prime car alarm 2 button remote to acquire the car alarm and keyless
entry functions again.  I had to kill the alarm with your directions provided to
another question by toggling the valet switch upon inserting/turning the key.
However, I cannot get the 2 button remote to work for arming the alarm or
performing the keyless entry function now.  I read through many posts but
cannot seem to find the answer.  Any help with this (very frustrating) matter
is greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Just repeat those steps I would think. ;>)

KEY IN AND IN THE ON POSITION JUST BEFORE CRANKING,
PRESS AND HOLD IN VALET SWITCH/BUTTON UNTIL YOU
GET A CHIRP FROM THE SIREN, AND MAYBE A FLASH OF THE LIGHTS.
KEY OFF.
This procedure would let you toggle into and out of
overrind on most alarms.
