Car Alarms: Cadillac CTS, cadillac cts, rapid sequence

Our neighbors recently purchased a used Cadillac CTS. For the last 4 weeks, it beeps in a rapid sequence of 5 beeps. It does it ONLY at night and ONLY after 10pm, random times through out the night, each night a different time. We've asked them to disalarm it, and they say there is 'nothing' they can do? Any advice would be so appreciated!

Try passing this on to your neighbor:

Not certain of the system, but MOST knock/impact
sensors have a wheel inset into it to turn up or down
(counter clockwise is down).

Locate the sensor under the dash and turn down or
simply unplug it. Should be a little oblong box
wire tied up high under the dash, and would
blink when it detects vibration.
