QuestionI have a Honda Civic R registration Hatchback my alarm went off and it sounded like a whistling kettle coming up to boil instead of the load noise I usually have. since that happened I have no car alarm and I cannot lock or unlock the doors with the key remote.

From the description what you heard was the alarm
siren/alarm brain shorting out.
I would take it to the nearest technician for
evaluation, repair or replacement.
No idea what caused it without first hand inspection,
but it's likely it has some moisture or, water damage.
Go find out for sure.
