QuestionDear Sir, I have a 1999 Cadillac seville STS with factory fitted anti-theft alarm. Occasionally and with no known common factors the alarm will trigger and has been doing this with increasing regularity lately. I always armed the system by shutting the doors and then by using the remote activator. However conflicting advice suggests I should arm the system before shutting the door. Can this be right? Or do you think there is another explanation to my problem? I appreciate there are a number of anti-theft inputs to the vehicle management system but the car performs 100% otherwise. Regards Mike.
AnswerAh, sorry I do apologize,
