Car Alarms: No remote to disable alarm, battery cables, designtech

Question
I bought a 99 F350 with a automate 2 alarm. After cleaning the battery cables it armed the alarm. How do I get a alarm remote to work the alarm system? Or do I need to disconnect the system if no remote is available.
