Car Alarms: adding remote start, car alarm system, remote starters

I have a 2000 extended cab  five speed toyota tacoma
. can i add a remote starting system? About how much would it cost and is this something that i can do?

There are only 2 remote starters I'd trust to
do manual transmission remote start.
1 is the ASTRA 1000 RSW M and the other is the Galaxy 5000 rsw m.
Both from Scytek, and both have safety protocols that
work well with manual trans vehicles.
Can't start it remotely unless certain things
are done prior to leaving the vehicle the last time.

The 1000 manual unit is 99.95 and the Galaxy is 194.00 right
now, and also is a 2 way car alarm system as well.

You can do this if you have the proper notes, tools
and patience. If you've ever done a car stereo,
it's similar.
