QuestionI purchased this car about a year ago, and my remote died recently. I ordered new ones that I need to program, but the instructions refer to the valet switch, and I cannot find it. HELP!
AnswerTo try to locate your after market valet switch,
it would normally be located under the dash area,
to the left of the leg.
It's a spring loaded button, black or red normally
and drilled into a plastic panel.
Older, and less extensive alarms would have a toggle
type of switch instead. And if also a remote starter,
it can be a part of the antenna on the windshield glass.
However, there is NO valet/over ride switch on
a factory/OEM car alarm system. These need information
from a dealer for programming which I do not
provide here.
