Car Alarms: Car Alarm Goes Off When Opening Driver Door....?, alarmtek, dash area

Thanks for your time! I really appreciate it. MOving on, I have a 2001 Chrysler Concorder with factory installed alarm system. Until last week, it would only go off if any door other than the drivers' door was opened. Now, when I open the driver side door, the alarm goes off until I start the car. I was just curious if you ave any idea of what this is? Any answer would be greatly appreciated, as I have very little money and taking it somewhere would be Option 2/ Plan B. Thanks again! I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.
