QuestionMy crimestopper stopped working about 6 months ago. Cleaned the terminal located under the hood, the so-called switch. Someone told me this switch may be bad??
Got info on reprogramming this unit as follows:
To program this remote-
1) Open hood or ground GREY wire @ pin #7 on 12 pin connector coming from Crimestopper control module usually located under dash.
2) Turn key to on position.
3) Press red programming button coming from module 4 times, after a few seconds the parking lights on vehicle should flash 4 times.
4) Press button #1 pause, #2 pause, #3 pause, #4 pause on the remote you are programming, the lights should flash after ever button push. After all four codes (buttons) are learned, the unit will exit code learning mode. If not, turn off key and close hood. Hope this helps......Kevin
Perhaps I need a new switch?? Or perhaps programming, who knows but thanks anyway, Steve Zimmett
