Car Alarms: car alarm no start, starter wire, switch harness

I removed my car alarm on my 92 mustang 5.0 and now it will not start. voltage at the starter, but nothing when I turn the key. I am assuming that because I removed the alarm I broke a connection with either the ignition or starter motor circuit. I am trying to trace the wiring to the junction box where all the wires for the alarm go.  any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Miss starter kill I think.

Locate the starter wire in the ignition switch harness.
The installer likey put in a relay on the starter wire
and it needs to be cut out and the wire repaired.

red/blue or white/pink will be the starter wire.
