Car Alarms: alarm issue, jeep cherokee, remotes
QuestionI have an Omega R&D #432 on my Jeep Cherokee. It was installed approxiamately 3 years ago. This past weekend I had to have a new alternator and battery installed. I never engaged my alarm after picking my vehicle up from being repaired. I was using one of my two remotes that the battery was dead. The good remote was left at the repair shop. I drove my vehicle for a day with no problems. The second day, my alarm starting sounding when I opened my door after using the key to unlock it. My good remote will not turn my alarm off. I was having to push the remote buttom multiple times previously to turn it off (prior to repair). I replaced the battery on the remotes yesterday. Still having no luck. I need help! : )
AnswerThe best thing here is
to write to my OMEGA Alarm (caralarm.com)
technician at
[email protected] and see if
he can assist you with this issue.
I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
Good luck there.
