Car Alarms: Remove dealer-installed alarm, installed alarm, representitive

My dealership suckered my into paying for the alarm they installed on my vehicle (Karr Security High Performance Series 3).  What they didn't tell me was that I now wouldn't be able to use the factory remote start.  Can I remove the aftermarket alarm myself and, if so, how?

any of they're equipment come to think of it.
