Car Alarms: mustang keyless, wire colors, mustang gt

Question
I purchased an alarm/keyless entry for my 1996 mustang gt convertible.  The car has no factory keyless box in the trunk.  I power the brain (12v) and tap into the two door lock wires (pink w/ yellow or green) and nothing happens.  Alarm seems to arm (flashing) yet nothing to doors.  Any ideas????  Am I just stupid for trying???

There's your trouble bub. It's more surgical then
a straight tap to a wire here. The wire colors
are correct though.

See, in the Non-keyless version, the door locks are
5 wire reverse, and will likely require relays (2)
to make it work. If you keyless entry has the relays
built in, follow the diagram for 5 wire set up.
