QuestionQUESTION: I have a 93 Lexus car.I locked my keys in my car last night and I had to pop my lock.I can't start my car because every time I put my key in the ignition my alarm goes off.My lights work but my car door locks dont work.
ANSWER: I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET
Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: Does a Factory alarm come with the car.
AnswerYes, the factory system is part of the door lock
mechanism. If no remote, to disarm it,
put the key in the drivers or passenger door,
turn left to disarm the alarm, right to unlock.
If this does not work, it's possible you have an
after market system. If this is the case, then
you will need to have a local technician get in there
to evaluate it and repair it if possible.
