Car Alarms: Excalibur Gold 1200, replacement remotes, keyless entry system
QuestionI bought a car with the Ex-Gold 1200 alarm plus keyless entry system in it. There was no battery in the car for two years and the remotes melted in a fire. I bought replacement remotes but when I go to program them per the original instruction book the alarm makes no noise or anything. There is a little display that shows a "P". When I turn the key it shows a "1", which I'm guessing is the number of currently programmed remotes. After I try to program and turn the key off the flashing light turns off for a few second then back on and no change at all. I can still drive the car but it acts like there is no alarm system. Please help.
AnswerThe best thing here is
to write to my OMEGA Alarm technician at
[email protected] and see if
he can assist you with this issue.
I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
Good luck there.
