Car Alarms: ultra starter, alarmtek, gmc jimmy

i had just recieved a remote start from e-bay,i have a 2001 gmc jimmy with a factory alarm sys.there is no  chip on my key  .do i need to bypass the alarm system?,or what and where do i get the extra parts to make this work? i bought a ultra start

Yes, you will need the GM PLJX module for the
bypass, and 2 relays for the door locks.
