QuestionI have a NuStart CM4200, and it will not start the vehicle when it is -10C or lower. I have been told its my van, been told everything, but the van gets a 100% from dealership mechanics. It does not have the cold start module-Does it matter? I think its a tach sensor problem or something.Any ideas for the under quailified Future Shop installers?

AnswerYou want it to be in Tach mode Dan. The cold weather
will hinder the induction reading types of starters
so, direct rpm (tach) connection does better.
If there is a "cold start" module, I would review
it's function, and if applicable to this issue,
think about installing it. May be just what
you needed here for sub zero weather starts.
I hope this helped.
