Car Alarms: Scytek Galaxy 5000rs remote start and alarm, galaxy 5000rs, rear view mirror

A friend got this for her 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I'm a retired mechanic but never installed one. There is NO ONE ! in our area that installs stuff like this I guess I got elected. where can I find a wire break out and connector locater for this truck. Also where is the best place to mount the ant/valet switch?

Go to www.techservices.audiovox.com and sign up.  You will find the cheat sheet for that truck there.  You will also need a bypass module for the installation, the easiest to use would be the Universal key-in-a-box type bypass.  The best place for the antenna would be up behind the rear-view mirror.  Extend the antenna wire out as straight as possible.  If you coil up the wire it will affect the operating range of the remotes.  I suggest heading over to www.the12volt.com for any other questions you may have during installation.  I frequent there as well as a large number of other installers.
