Car Alarms: powerlocks, power locks, actuators

I have a 2000 Focus and I want to install power locks and an alarm. I bought DEI aftermarket actuators but I am totally confused about connection. Do I need a 30 amp relay, a door lock relay module or a door lock interface like DEI 451m? Is this all the same stuff or different applications? What connection should I follow and what relay type do I need to make the right connection. Do I need a relay at all?
