Car Alarms: truck with canopy alarm reccomondations, 2003 toyota tundra, toyota tundra

i have just purchased a 2003 toyota tundra with a work canopy ( rear doors with two side doors for tools) and will certainly be adding a alarm . i curently have a compustar on my truck now , but am dissapointed that if i have to leave the rear canopy open , i cannot arm the rest of the truck . i seem to recall that the audiovox i had on another truck would beep 3 times , (indicating that something was left open) , but still alarm whatever was closed( as well as opperating the door locks). i plan on having this unit for some time and want to have installed the right equipment .

YOU CAN SET IT UP TO IGNORE THE "CANOPY" TRIGGER
IF NEED BE, BUT THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE WOULD BE
