Car Alarms: Problem with car remote, nissan altima, beeps

Hi,

I have a Nissan Altima 2000 GXE. My car remote has a problem. My car remote has "Lock" switch . If we press it twice the alarm beeps.

The problem is, even if I don't press that lock key it is generating a signal . So the car alarm beeps every now and then. If I remove my battery in remote or if I move far away from office this won't happen.

Can you suggest me how can I solve this ?

The remote is broken. The best thing
is to remove the battery, and
replace the faulty remote ASAP.
