Car Alarms: How to lock Honda CRV without setting the alarm?, honda crv, valet mode

How can I lock my Honda CRV but leave the alarm off? i.e. with the dog inside!

Ok, use the key only to lock and unlock,
NOT the remote.

Or, put the alarm into valet mode, and
then you can use the remote to lock
and unlock without arming it.

See some of the past postings on how valet
is done on most after market alarms.
Then when ready, go back into user mode
for daily security.
