Car Alarms: chapman system, gmc jimmy, keyfob

Question
I just bought a 97 GMC Jimmy with a Chapman Security system , is there a place I can buy an owners manual??
It sets itself after about 30 sec witch is very annoying in the driveway if you want to hop in & move the truck etc, I would like to be able to set it manually by the remote keyfob when I want to. Also where do I buy another remote & will it come with programing instructions??
