Car Alarms: Commando 870 K, warranty replacement, slickcar

I have this larm installed but I cannot program remote to vibaration mode. I have tried what the owners manual said, press Set and witin 3 secs press and hold unlock button, this does not work. Any suggestions?

That is most certainly the procedure.  I just tested and confirmed on my own personal remote.  Press the red “Set” button once then press and hold the “Unlock” button for 3 seconds.  The unit will vibrate and 3 squiggly lines will appear under the car.  The same procedure will work to make the unit audible once again.  If this does not work, please contact us at 1-800-780-1409 for warranty replacement.
