Car Alarms: 2002 Grand Caravan alarm, dodge chrysler, grand caravan

Our keyless entry no longer works.  Our factory installed alarm goes off when we start with the key.  Is there a way to disable the alarm (horn beeps)?

Answer
No the factory alarm is dependent on that remote.
It contraols quite a bit of features and has
a transponder chip in it.

You will need to get that repaired to
get around this.

Sorry, wish there could be more for you on this one,
but it's Dodge/Chrysler's way of keeping
it all in house.
