Car Alarms: original immobilizer, volvo 850, exact procedure

i have a volvo 850 t5r 1994. i have disconnected the battery to fit a new starter motor. when i put the battery back on the original immobilizer has kicked in and the car will not start and i dont have original fob. tried locking and unlocking doors but not working, any ieas

Only that you need to get Volvo to reset & reprogram
the immobilizer. Can't magically do that without
the exact procedure. Sorry about that.
Give Volvo a call and ask them for the rate
to reset yours, and program a key to it.
