Is there a way to disable or reset an alarm for a 1998 Malibu?   It is a factory installed orginal Delco alarm system.

No not for this vehicle. You will need
to bypass the passlock 2 system in this vehicle
to reset and disable the alarm.

is done when overiding GM'S system for
remote start. The permanant grounding of the
input wire circumvents the passlock 2
completely.
