ANSWER: I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"going off"?

QUESTION: The head lights flash, and the horn sounds, and the word security flashes on teh dash.
AnswerNormally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. The factory alarm
disarms with either the factory remote or
by turning the ignition key to the run position.
There are few options when the factory system is
concerned.
Short of that, the system would need to be reset by
Ford if malfunctioning.
