Car Alarms: bmw z3, bmw z3, bmw service

Alarm will not activate, when pressing the alarm button, it beeps 3x, why?

Answer
If this is a factory system I suggest calling
over to the BMW service department for that
answer.

If it's after market, it sounds like an open door
or light circuit is being detected.

hard to tell with the limited explaination.
