QUESTION: the alarm on my 99 ford escort zx2 goose of  on it own. How can i disconnect the alarm and still use the car namely

ANSWER: I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"goes off"?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action.

QUESTION: It is a fackrey alarm. lights falsh horn sounds and security light comes on  and i  don`t set it. It realy dose it when it it reaning. would like to disconeck it.

Ok, the factory alarm disarms with either the factory remote or by turning the ignition key to the
run position. Without the remote, you will not
be able to disarm it permanantly.

Sorry, no quick fix on this one I am afraid.
