Car Alarms: Valet / Led Combo, gm product, installation forum

My 1998 GMC dash was removed to do A/C repair in doing so the mechanics destroyed a 3-wire valet/Led combo switch. The transmitter box for the alarm says GM product, I'm trying to find a replacement 3-wire Valet/Led with no luck. I did get a 4-Wire directed 8606 Valet/Led combo, but I think I mess it up trying to hook it to the 3-wires. The wires coming from the transmitter are orange(12v), blue and green. The 8606 LED has black and grey wire with a blue connector and red and blue wire with a blue connector. I cut the connectors off and tried to wire it into the existing orange, green and blue. Things went down hill from there. Any advice is appreciated.
