Car Alarms: 2001 ford explorer alarm, shock sensor, chirps

i recently purchased a 2001 explorer sport,  i have the factory alarm control, it locks and unlocks doors and chirps once when alarm is activated, panic funtions correctly. my question is what other function should it have becouse i can open the door by reaching thru the open window when armed and alarm does not sound nos does it seem to have a shock sensor. thank you!

It appears that it is incorrectly installed.
I suggest going to the local stereo/alarm store
and have them inspect it. I can't from my perspective,
so to know what to offer here would only be a guess.
