Car Alarms: prog. remote, mitsubishi eclpise, data connector

Hi, I recently purchased a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclpise Spyder Turbo, the former owner did not have the remote so today I got one from the local dealership, well I am unable to find the "control data connector" I have serched everywhere PLEASE HELP...what exactly am i looking for, I red it is located in the driver compartment and is a 16 pin connector, I don't see it...also where can I purchase the owners manual , I LOVE THIS CAR!!

Please contact the folks you bought
the remote from for some support on
this for you. It's they're responsibility to
help you use they're product correctly.
