QuestionI have a 06 GMC Savana 3500 in the bay did an AST 2250 alarm/remote start combo and the PLJX PassLock2 bypass. Car wouldn't start from remote. Tach learned OK it seems and ByPass resistance set up OK. This is a spy van, so the brain was put in the back of the van, but the ByPass was put in the front.
Thought I wasn't getting any trigger on Brown from alarm/remote start to Bypass to activate it, so I put meter to brown output (continuity) and good ground and then when I try to start it everytime with meter on it, it always seems to start on 2nd crank, but without meter, no start. Added a relay triggered by alarm/RS brown wire to feed a stronger ground to ByPass, still didn't work. But when I test the relay w/meter on continuity again, lo and behold, it starts 2nd crank. Any ideas?
