hi do i need to press the clutch pedal  to unlock the immobiliser on my chrysler voyager

Don't think I have ever heard that one. Interesting.
Does your Voyager actually have a clutch pedal?

All of the one's I ever saw were strictly automatic.
And that action, even if it was there, would not
tell you there was an immobilizer in the ignition.

Try making a standard metal key at the hardware
store. Then attempt to start the vehicle.
If there was was an immobilizer, nothing would happen.
No start, zip.

Without immobilizer, it woud start right up.
