Car Alarms: Disable factory alarm, autopage remote start, dodge ram

I purchased a 2000 Dodge Ram with an autopage remote start/alarm already installed. On several occasions the factory alarm horn/headlights) has armed itself and required using the original Dodge key fob to disarm it. How can I disable the factory system so this does not continue to happen?

Dodge's are kinda tricky.
To do this you will need to get a relay.

The Disarm wire is a negative trigger
through a 1.5K (1500) ohm resistor.

You MUST use a relay to get it to disarm.
This wire is lt. green/orange, & located in the driver
door harness.
