Car Alarms: Cadillac Catera Alarm, 1998 cadillac catera, cadillac catera

Hello my name is Pete Zeller and I have the Omega Max car alarm on my 1998

Cadillac Catera and have a problem with it and nobody around here can see

a way to get around it. First off I had it installed professionally at

perpetual sound in Springfield Ohio which is now out of business. The

problem is that after I shut my car door my alarm will sound exactly after

10 minutes after the door was shut displaying the door ican on the Eco

pager. After the ten mins is up the alarm will rearm and will work

perfectly or if i wait 10 mins to arm the alarm it will also work

perfectly, I love the alarm. I know that there are small door lights that

stay on after the door is shut for exactly 10 mins and i think that may be

the reason why it is going off. Is there a specific bypass that needs to

be installed? Any info on a 97-99 catera that has been set up with this or

any other alarm would be greatly appreciated Thanks -Pete

I don't know the alarm well, but my guys at the forum do.
Go to www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com  and write this letter
into the post section.

There are 2 guy in there that will probably help here.

Go there to see what can be solved.

(sounds like the passlock and the alarm are in conflict,
but go ask the best at installsupport.com to be certain.
