good day sir, recently i've been having problems with my car alarm.As of now, open/close buttons intermittently functioning.I even tried replacing the battery but to no avail.hope you ca help me on this.

I would get in under the dash and check
all connection points (power ground etc...)
to see what's causing the intermitency.

Systems don't just "fail" normailly.
It's usually attributed to either a misconnected
ground or power wire, a blown fuse, or damaged
equipment like a waterloged siren.

Please check the wiring to determine what is causing
yours and apply repair.
