how can i deactivate my chevrolet 2001 alarm. the beeper is damaged and i have problems taking off the alarm.
please help me

It may be possible to deactivate your factory alarm, but without knowing the kind of car it is I can not offer assistance.  Check your owner's manual and see if it lists how to disable the security.  I know with the Camaro, the Grand Prix and a few others you can turn off factory security by following a few steps outlined in the owner's manual.
