what kind passlock a chevrollet s 10 2001 use? another question if i cross a resistor wire to wire it will be like the key still in in iginition right?so  will not be nescessary a relay  right?

Your system is Passlock II.  I do not recommend a permanent bypass for this system as it may cause you problems in the future.  I would strongly recommend a resistance learning bypass or a GMBP from bypasskit.com, maybe through Ebay or another online retailer.  Ebay item 330070521583 (ends Jan 9, 2007) is $34.00 shipped and will significantly reduce the possibility of problems with your vehicle in the future.
