Car Alarms: Viper 791xv, will need adobe reader, valet mode

Question
When arming and disarming the alarm, it doesnt give off a chirp indicating the action was made anymore. I checked the horn and its wires and everything is in place. The remote doesnt chirp also. And the "status" light stays as a steady light, it doesnt flash when armed. What happened? I have no clue how to troubleshoot this

Your alarm is in Valet mode.  On page 26 of your owner's manual it explains how to put your system in and out of valet mode.  You can find your owner's manual here:
