Car Alarms: compustar pro, antenna range, cellular interface

what are the advantages of compustars pro line over their regular line,range on a two way pager system is important to me. also when will we be able to get a cell phone operated alarm system?

On The Compustar Pro series it's range is very good.
I like the system actually, if not a little
bit "overdone" for my taste with the protocal settings
and tach learning mess of they'res, but once
instlled, I like the performance. The software
program and fm antenna range at 500 feet more then
the standard compustar's make the difference.

On the cellular interface, it's out already

But I have seen this in action, and not impressed with
it's overall reliabilty or product support
since it's Japanese, and no stateside english
support that I could find, it's a pass in my book
until the bugs can be ironed out. The terminology
from country to country can be confusing.

Wait for it to be in a module form from
DEI or possibly Omega in the next product
year.
