Car Alarms: toyota immobilizer system, denny ford, immobilizer system

lock cylinder had to be replaced as a result of hi milage wear out. what if any, way to bypass im. system in leiu of toyota reprograming & possible ecu replacement. i have original transponder key .

If you have the original transponder key you could use a universal transponder bypass wired so it comes on with the ignition in the vehicle.  Then use standard non-transponder keys to operate the vehicle.  This will permanently bypass the factory anti-theft though, so I recommend considering having the factory reprogram your control module.
