Car Alarms: sidewinder 5000, honda prelude, sidewinder

I have a sidewinder 5000 installed in a 96 honda prelude andthe alarm will not shut off. The hidden remote button is not responding and i lost the wireless remote. Can I disarm it?

Turn on your ignition, then press the button.  It will not work without turning the ignition on.

If you post your email address I will send you the owner's manual for your system.  I would also suggest purchasing a remote control, it is a good system, but without remotes it is not very useful. :)
