Is there a way to disable the security alarm without any other problems? I have had the  ^***^&*& of the remotes they are delcate and eat batts like my dog eats treats

Factory Alarm Disarm    purple/yellow      negative     driver kick black plug

Grounding this wire will disarm the factory alarm, but I am not sure if permanently grounding it would cause any other issues.  I would say it is worth trying to see if your problems go away.
