Car Alarms: HOw do I disable my factory installed car alarm without, jetta gls, car alarm

I need to completely disable my factory alarm for my 97 Jetta GLS until I am able to install a new alarm

Answer
Can't really  disable it simply on this one Marc.
  You need to add an after market keyless entry
to send the pulse needed to also disarm when unlocking.
No way to do it untill that's accomplished.

Best to get it done ASAP to get this solved
or it will be a constant issue.
