Car Alarms: valet cadillac security, valet remote start, security system

I have a 2000 cad escalade and it has a valet remote start security system.  The remote start will start the car but it will not continue too run.  What could be wrong?  How good is the valet system.  Does it come stock on cadillac?

Valet is made by DEI(viper). Ok as far as they go.
Sounds as if the passlock bypass is incorrect.

This bypass sounds as if it is either malfunctioning,
or was never bypassed. It is required.
