Car Alarms: installing car alarm, gm truck, passlock ii

i have a viper respoder alarm .i would like to install on a chevy p/u 2002. can i install with factory alarm or will it cause problems  

Answer
It should be fine with the factory system. The Responder should have an output to disarm a factory system when remote starting, but you will also need a passlock II bypass module and relays for the door locks to make it work in a 2002 GM truck. Other then that, should be ok.
