QuestionSo it would have to be either mono tone, or soft chirp. Soft chirp would just been usual beep beep, but quieter.. right? How do the mono tone sirens sound?

Hi!
I recently was in a walmart parking lot and saw someone approaching their car, it was a BMW Z3 prolly around a 1997 one. I was shocked to hear the car alarm disarm.. the sound it made was awesome! It was not just a boring ol high pitch beep beep it was like a squalch... just a unique overall awesome sound! I know I might sound a lil weird but I am wondering what car alarm system makes that kinda of sound, because I want one! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Well, that's not easy from your description.
I could be the factory system that comes in the
Z3, or an aftermarket siren that is not
the usuall 6 tone version you hear all the time.
There are mono tone sirens and extraloud ones,
some that have soft chirps and others that talk.
I would actually need to know what it was
exactly to provide an intellegent answer.
Sorry but a bit to vague
to provide more help on this one.

Interesting. But none that I know of.
AnswerSingle tone sirens tend to be louder and more
penetraiting sirens. The are usually worbler
type of sounds.
The soft chirp sirens still go chirp chirp, but a bit
more muted. There are alarms that offer a sort
of "thunp thunp" disarm, but that's just for
large quiet neighborhoods, and to satisfy
city ordenances, but if I understand you correctly
here, you want unique. I'd get a sindle tone siren
to add to your current alarm system to star with.
It's the cheapest of the options (12.00 +s&h) and
is easiest to replace your current system's siren
in the same spot your's is in now.
