when installing a alarm with remote starter how do i know the difference between the motor side and the coil side of the starter for hondas toyotas and nissan all from 1990 to 2003

Answer
Too vague. Too many veriables in these cars
to have a common answer. All of thes cars and trucks
would test at the wire on the coil when the starter
is engaged. The motor side is usually the wire
closest to the engine side and vice versa on the coil
side.

The are many variations though so each car and
truck will be different.
Tach can also be found behind the dash cluster in
most cases for Japanese cars.
